Customer Reviews
Good quality, thoughtful design
I ordered a wooden railway set and the battery powered engine. The ordering process on the website was straightforward. Shipping took about 5 business days to reach my home in Texas, which was as expected. Everything was well-packaged. The train set pieces fit together perfectly, and the engine runs smoothly. I appreciated that the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The wood feels durable and the colors are vibrant but not overly bright. This felt like a solid purchase for long-term play.
Great value on a balance bike
I was looking for a balance bike and found a good deal here. The price was competitive, and I got free shipping since my order was over $50. The bike itself is well-made and my son took to it quickly. It felt like a smart purchase, especially with the savings on shipping. Happy with the overall value.
Absolutely amazing Quadrilla set!
I just got the Quadrilla Marble Run Cyclone for my nephew and it's incredible! The quality of the wood is fantastic, and it was so much fun putting it together. He's going to adore this. Definitely shopping here again for holiday gifts! I can't wait to see what other cool wooden toys they have.
Mostly happy with the kitchen
We bought the wooden play kitchen, and it arrived in good condition. Assembly was fairly easy, though one screw hole felt a little misaligned, making that part a bit fiddly. The kitchen itself is sturdy and looks great in the playroom, much nicer than plastic alternatives. My kid loves the little knobs that click. I would recommend it for the quality and design, but they could improve the precision of the pre-drilled holes for easier assembly.
Consistent quality for repeat buyer
This was my third purchase from HapeToys, this time a set of magnetic tiles. As always, the quality is top-notch. Their products consistently hold up well to active play. Shipping was quick, just like my previous orders for the sand toys and an activity cube. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect.
Fast delivery, good xylophone
Ordered a wooden xylophone. It arrived quickly. Product was just as described. My daughter enjoys it. No complaints.

Hey, thinking of getting one of the marble runs for my niece's birthday. Anyone know how fast they usually ship to, say, Texas?
Just wondering if Hape toys are really all that compared to Melissa & Doug stuff. The prices are a bit higher, so wanna make sure.
